False hijack alarm

New Delhi Aug. 20. Malfunctioning of a new anti-hijack device on a freshly-inducted Indian Airlines aircraft created panic today after a distress ``hijack'' alarm emanated from the Srinagar-bound plane with 53 passengers including two Union Ministers on board at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here. — PTI
