Letters to the Editor
Sir, Even in a developed country like the U.S., there are only three Government holidays Independence Day, Christmas and the New Year. It is a paradox that developing India has so many holidays. Why can festival holidays not be limited to, say 10 days? The option can be left to the employees of different communities to avail themselves of the holidays of their choice.
