Ranil to deliver lecture in Chennai

COLOMBO AUG. 21. The Sri Lankan Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe, is scheduled to deliver the "Millennium Lecture 2003" and inaugurate a virtual academy for food security in Chennai later this week.

Mr. Wickremesinghe, who is leaving for India on Friday, would inaugurate the MSSRF-Tata Virtual Academy for Food Security and Rural Prosperity on Saturday and deliver the lecture the same evening. He is scheduled to return to Colombo on Sunday.
