Briefing mediapersons here today, the Congress spokesman, Satyawrat Chaturvedi, said the Opposition had resorted to the no-confidence motion in the hope of securing some answers from the Government on issues agitating the nation, but the ruling combination had not found it necessary to reply.
As for Mr. Fernandes, he said the party would continue to boycott him. Similarly, the Congress would boycott the Rajya Sabha proceedings on Friday as the Government had refused to give in to the Opposition demand for a comprehensive discussion on the Public Accounts Committee report on `Operation Vijay' and a reply from the Prime Minister.
