Wet grinder makers to go for ISO certification

COIMBATORE: Nearly 20 wet grinder and accessory manufacturers here are planning to go for ISO certification. According to the Secretary of the Coimbatore District Wet Grinders and Accessories Manufacturers Association, N. Rajan, the association had about 500 members and nearly 50 of them were involved in exports. However, hardly any of them had gone for ISO certification, he pointed out.

By obtaining the certification, they would be able to improve the quality of the product and the production process. Hence, an awareness programme was organised here on Friday in this regard. — Our Staff Reporter
