Mukesh manages to keep lead

Chennai Aug. 22. Digvijay Singh was breathing fire down his back but Mukesh Kumar just about managed to cling on to his lead going into the climactic round of the TNGF-KONE Open golf tournament at the Cosmo-TNGF course on Friday.

Digvijay shot a confident six-under 66 to move within a stroke of the leader and it should be a fascinating battle on Saturday between the two talented pros. Mukesh Kumar's three round aggregate is 201 and Digvijay is on 202. Arjun Singh is on 204 and the three will tee off together, the last group out, on the final day.

Leading pro scores: 201 - Mukesh Kumar; 202 - Digvijay Singh; 204 - Arjun Singh; 206 - Uttam Singh Mundy; 207 - Harmeet Kahlon; 208 - Indrajit Bhalotia, Rafiq Ali and Ashok Kumar; 210 - Mohd Islam and Gaurav Ghei.
