Ms. Parimala was accompanied by her advocates. Ms. Parimala is known to be keen on seeking an inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the circumstances that led to the death of her husband. Nagappa, a Janata Dal leader, was abducted by Veerappan from his house at Kamagere in Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar district. After 105 days in captivity, Mr. Nagappa's body was found in the forests with bullet injuries.
