Telemedicine facility sought

By Our Staff Correspondent

JAIPUR AUG. 23. The Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, has urged the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to establish a telemedicine facility in the State to ensure the availability of super-speciality services in remote villages as well as at the primary health centres.

In a letter addressed to the ISRO Chairman, K. Kasturi Rangan, Mr. Gehlot said the technique would provide crucial benefits besides saving the time involved in travelling for doctors and bring to the ordinary people an easy access to medical expertise.
