HYDERABAD: Aug.23. The BJP Mahila Morcha vice-president, Vijayasanthi, has hailed the State BJP president, N. Indrasena Reddy's statement to the effect that the issue of separate Telangana is very much on the agenda of the party. In a press release, Ms Vijayasanthi urged the State leadership to ensure that the issue was included in the agenda of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). She said the demand for separate Telangana reflected the aspirations of people of the region. The TDP-BJP alliance should not come in the way of achieving the statehood for the region, she felt. The actor-turned-politician said the "anti-Telangana stance'' of the TDP would harm both TDP and BJP.
