YC petitions rights panel on Tirupati incident

HYDERABAD: Aug.23. A Youth Congress delegation along with eight Congress MLAs submitted a memorandum on Saturday to the State Human Rights Committee seeking its intervention in the alleged manhandling of the former PCC secretary, Karunakar Reddy, at Tirupati by the police.

Led by T.Venkat Rao, the president of the youth wing of the party, the delegation sought action against the police officers involved in the incident.
