Coaching for competitive examinations

BANGALORE AUG. 23. Gnana Bharati, a city-based voluntary organisation, has started correspondence courses for those appearing for competitive examinations.The courses, said to be the first of its kind in Karnataka, was launched by the President of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Harikrishna Punaroor, here on Friday.

The Director of Gnana Bharati, Manjunath, said the organisation would provide coaching for competitive examinations conducted by the State Government, the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), and other agencies at subsidised rates.

He said Gnana Bharati was presently providing coaching through correspondence for candidates appearing for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for recruitment of high school teachers in the State.
