``It was good that Asian countries were joining hands to oppose the hegemony of the developed nations who were forcing the developing countries to open their markets for them,'' Mr. Pawar said addressing the annual seminar on Rajya Draksha Bagaitdar Sangh (Grape Growers Association). He said the developed countries, including Europe and the United States, were putting the developing countries in a tight spot in the name of health and hygiene. ``India, China, Bangladesh and Pakistan were agitated on account of this and have warned the developed countries that they will not allow their markets for them,'' Mr. Pawar added. The Maharashtra Chief Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde, was present. PTI UNI reports from Lucknow: A Public Interest Litigation for restraining Pepsi and Coca-Cola owners from the sale, manufacture and distribution of their soft drinks has been filed with the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court.
