Incorrect

Sir, — K. Vedamurthy's contention that `Periyar' E.V.R. commented only on Hindu practices is incorrect (Aug. 21). He attacked superstitions, irrespective of the religion that perpetuated them. Just because rituals like fire-walking are sacred to Hindus, is it wrong to assail them?
