Four IIT students expelled for ragging

New Delhi Aug. 24. Bowing to pressure from the Human Resource Development Ministry, IIT authorities have expelled four students from the institute here for six months in connection with the ragging of a fresher.

The decision to expel the students came after a meeting yesterday, IIT sources said today.

The authorities had earlier expelled the students from the hostel for ragging Prakash Rajpurohit.
