In a 50-minute programme produced by journalist, Mark Tully, for the current affairs slot of BBC's Channel Four, Mr. Advani said the image of the BJP was ``based upon certain associates of ours with whom we do not agree and who perhaps are today therefore more critical of (Atal Behari) Vajpayee and me than anyone else.'' Asked whether they were damaging the image of the party, he said ``May be, to some extent.'' For the programme ``Hindu Nation'', Mr. Tully has travelled to various parts of the country and highlighted the growing role of organisations such as the RSS, the VHP and the Bajrang Dal in inculcating the ``Hindutva'' mantra among youths. To a question if the BJP had come to power because of a reaction against secularism, Mr. Advani said, ``No, it is on a wave of reaction against pseudo-secularism and not against secularism.'' PTI
