ONGC staff call off stir

Mumbai Aug. 24. ONGC employees today called off their ``non-cooperation movement'' against the oil major's management following detailed discussions with the latter.

The agitation was launched on August 13, two days after the helicopter crash in the Arabian Sea. ``We had detailed discussions with the management and we have called off the agitation from midnight,'' the president of the ONGC's Association of Scientific and Technical Officers, L.K. Mirchandani, told UNI here.
