Letters to the Editor
Sir, "Initiating children into the world of books" (Aug. 19) is thought provoking. But public libraries are not up to the mark. Locating a book is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Lack of manpower is widespread. Private libraries for children, on the lines suggested in the article, are welcome.
