Fresh breakthrough likely in blasts case

By Our Special Correspondent

MUMBAI Sept. 5. The Mumbai Police is expecting the second breakthrough in the next few days in its ongoing investigation into the twin bomb blasts of August 25 last which claimed 53 lives in the city.

While indicating this, the Joint Police Commissioner (Crime), Satya Pal Singh, said the police were checking each link and would continue to do so till the entire chain was unearthed.

The city police had launched one of the biggest man-hunts to nab the terrorists involved.

Teams of police have been sent to various places in the country, including Bangalore, but he refused to give details.
