Letters to the Editor
Sir, I refer to the Supreme Court's suggestion of registering marriages compulsorily. There is a tendency to register only inter-caste marriages, marriages that are not approved by the family, or those which involve getting foreign visas. The Government can make a beginning by insisting on the compulsory registration of all the marriages that have taken place in the past 10 years.
