Rain likely in Tamil Nadu

<150> CHENNAI SEPT. 8. Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep and North Interior Karnataka and Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cms are: Mulki (Dakshina Kannada dt.) 3, Mangalore Airport and Sringeri (Chikmagalur dt.) 2 each, Hosur (Dharmapuri dt.), Panambur, Kundapur and Kota (both Udupi dt.), Honavar, Karwar, Siddapur (Uttar Kannada dt.), Agumbe and Kunavaram (Khammam dt.) 1 each.

FORECAST (Valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Kerala, Lakshadweep and South Interior Karnataka.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin For Tamil Nadu And Pondicherry FORECAST (Valid until Wednesday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
