India loses

Kuala Lumpur Sept. 24. Amid mounting tension, two penalty corner conversions by Waseem Ahmed and Sohail Abbas in a space of eight minute of the last quarter did India in as Pakistan overpowered them 4-2 to top pool `B' in the 6th Asia Cup Hockey tournament here today.

India now faces defending champion South Korea in the semis, while Pakistan has an easy semifinal outing against Japan. — UNI
