Secular fabric

Sir, — The front-page photo of women belonging to different faiths offering prayers at the Gateway of India in Mumbai (Sept. 26) symbolises the strength of the country's secular fabric. The vindictive acts of a few elements cannot be credited to the religion to which they belong.
