Sir, The Centre's move to extend the benefit of the old age pension scheme as well as life insurance and medical cover to the huge workforce in the unorganised sector is welcome. Surely, this will go a long way in improving the living conditions of the workers, particularly in the construction sector, besides according them a sense of social security. P.K.
