Daler Mehndi gets bail

New Delhi Oct. 23. The Delhi High Court today granted a 10-day anticipatory bail to Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi, against whom a court in Patiala, Punjab, on October 15 issued non-bailable warrants in connection with an alleged immigration racket.

Granting the protection in order to enable the singer to approach an appropriate court for regular bail, S.K. Agarwal directed him to appear before the Patiala Court on October 27. — UNI
