Ban on cell phones

Sir, — The move to ban cell phones in and around Tirumala, Tirupati, seems to be impulsive. If the rationale is that the People's War used cell phones in carrying out the attack on Chandrababu Naidu's convoy, camera flashguns and batteries too may have to be banned. Outright banning of communication is no solution.
