Sir, In the article, "India's bleeding head wound" ( Nov. 5 ), Subramanian Swamy has subtly suggested the economic and political reunification of the Indian sub-continent as a solution to the Kashmir problem. The points made in step 3 and step 5, of working out a common market and free trade arrangements and proceeding to greater unity, suggest this idea and hence cannot be overlooked. A reunification is not only both acceptable and welcome but also looks like the only promising and lasting solution to the territorial problems plaguing our sub-continent.
