Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your editorial suggestion ( Oct. 28 ) to abrogate POTA is not acceptable in the context of the growing menace of terrorism. The Government has amended POTA ostensibly to eliminate the chances of its being misused against politically inconvenient persons. But the existence of POTA in the statute books will serve as a deterrent to those who glorify or promote terrorism.
