Thackeray opposes cricketing ties with Pak.

MUMBAI NOV. 13. The Shiv Sena supremo, Bal Thackeray, today reiterated his opposition to resuming cricketing ties with Pakistan. ``Can peace be restored by playing the game of cricket with Pakistan?'' the Sena chief asked while talking to presspersons at his residence here. His statement came when his reaction was sought on the Centre's recent 12-point peace initiative and the BCCI's decision to send a cricket team next year to normalise ties with Pakistan.— PTI
