Land of scams

Sir, — The Bofors scam, the share market scam, the fodder scam, the sugar scam, the petrol pump scam — the list is endless. Now we have the multi-crore stamp paper scam, involving high profile people. The common people contribute a significant amount as income tax and professional tax from their hard earned money. And a few amass crores through scams and unholy nexus. Can the vision of a prosperous India ever materialise?
