Palestinian cause

Sir, — This has reference to the Prime Minister's statement "We fully support Palestinian cause" ( Nov. 16 ). He has voiced his concern at the right time. The war unleashed by Israel on the Palestinian people with the tacit support of the U.S. is aimed at destroying the credibility and infrastructure of the Palestinian Authority. India, as a leading developing country, has an obligation to show solidarity with the suffering Palestinian people.
