Cricketing ties

Sir, — Refer to the editorial "Reviving cricket ties" ( Nov. 15 ). When cricket between India and Pakistan is banned, it is indeed the game that suffers. The Indo-Pak. matches are played in a very competitive spirit and leave the large cricket loving audience in the subcontinent enthralled.
