The Sonia factor

Sir, — It is difficult to comprehend why the BJP and the Sangh Parivar outfits rake up the foreign origin issue of Sonia Gandhi every now and then. If the people had been wary of the fact, the Congress would not have been in power in 14 States. As for Narendra Modi's proposal to explore ways of amending the Constitution suitably, he would do well to take steps to provide justice to the victims of last year's riots.

V. Rajesh,
Mumbai
