Administrative reforms

Sir, — Kudos to Ms. Jayalalithaa on her bold efforts to introduce administrative reforms. I hope she will follow it up with the introduction of the six-day week.

By combining the weekend with holidays and casual leave, Government offices often remain virtually closed for a whole week with work coming to a standstill.
