NCP fields Manohar Naik from Washim

NEW DELHI,
MARCH 21.
Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party has fielded the Maharashtra Minister of State for Industry, Manohar Naik, from Washim, while the Madhya Pradesh NCP president Kalpana Parulekar, will contest the Mandsaur seat in the State.
Apart from the two, the names of four others figured in the second list of the party released here today. With this, the NCP has totally fielded 24 candidates, including 18 in Maharashtra.
The party, which formalised its seat-sharing arrangement with the Congress on Saturday in Maharastra, has made the former MP, Suryakanta Patil, a nominee from Hingoli while Devidas Pingale is its candidate in Nashik. Former MP, Suresh Varpudkar, has been fielded from Parbhani, while INTUC leader, Sachin Ahir, has been nominated for the Mumbai South Central seat to take on Mohan Ravale of the Shiv Sena.
