Explosives recovered

FAIZABAD, MARCH 21. Police overnight recovered over 1500 kg of explosives and 236 country bombs in Faizabad and Gonda districts of Uttar Pradesh and arrested three persons in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided some houses in the Nawabganj market in Gonda district and recovered 236 bombs and 11 kg of explosives, the DIG of Police, V.K. Agarwal said here.
