Army Chief inspects last phase of fencing

JAMMU, APRIL 2. The Chief of the Army Staff, Nirmal Chandra Vij, today inspected the last and final stretch of fencing operations along the Line of Control in the Rajouri-Poonch tract of Jammu province, which is prone to infiltration from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The General expressed satisfaction at the timely construction of the final stretch of the fence. Construction of the fence has resulted in a drop in infiltration.
