New German designed coaches

NEW DELHI, JULY 6. In a bid to prevent coaches from climbing over each other during accidents, tight-lock centre buffer couplers will be progressively introduced in superfast trains, the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, announced today.

The new German-designed coaches and the bogies are manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. — PTI
