Arrest drama

Sir, — The arrest warrant drama involving the Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shibu Soren, is shameful. For appointment in government service, there are many pre-requisites, including police clearance. But it seems a Minister does not have to step down even if a warrant is issued against him.

Pisipati Sriram Prasad,
Hyderabad
