Against federalism

Sir, — The enactment of the Punjab Termination Agreement Bill 2004 by the Amarinder Singh Government in Punjab has set a bad precedent. It will pave the way for termination of water-sharing agreements by many States. This move strikes at the root of federalism and is a grave threat to national integration.
