New Additional Solicitor General

NEW DELHI, AUG. 14. The Centre has appointed senior advocate, Amarendra Sharan as Additional Solicitor General in the Supreme Court. With his appointment, there are five ASGs to deal with Central Government cases in the apex court.

Mr. Sharan joined the Bar in August 1975. and practised in the Patna High Court. He began practice in the Supreme Court in 1981.
