Case against Taslimuddin withdrawn

PATNA, AUG. 14. The Bihar Government today withdrew a criminal case against the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Md. Taslimuddin, and accordingly informed the Araria court on the basis of which it stayed the execution of the non-bailable arrest warrant and the order for attachment of property issued against him.The matter was pending decision after the complainant, Manzar Alam, had expressed his desire to withdraw his case. The Araria District Magistrate, the Law Department and the Advocate-General had favoured withdrawal of the case.
