New Governor's swearing-in tomorrow

HYDERABAD,
NOV. 2.
Sushil Kumar Shinde will be sworn in 19th Governor of the State at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
He will arrive in the city from Mumbai the same morning.
Raj Bhavan is bracing up for the occasion which will witness the Chief Justice, Devinder Gupta, administering the oath of office to the new Governor.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Governor, Surjit Singh Barnala, who is shifted to Chennai, will be seen off at the airport by the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues and the Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda, at 8.40 AM on Wednesday.
Dr. Reddy who is in Delhi will land at the airport a few minutes prior to Mr. Barnala's departure. A ceremonial send-off will be accorded to Mr. Barnala.
