Case against Pratighatana commander

By Our Staff Reporter

WARANGAL, NOV. 2. The Mangapet police have registered a murder case against Pratighatana commander Bhupathi and his associates holding them responsible for the death of the armed reserve constable, N. Madan.

It may be recalled that Madan was killed in an exchange of fire with the naxals when he went along with a police party to ensure law and order at AP Rayons factory employees colony in Kamalapur village on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, according to sources, Bhupathi reportedly admitted to a section of mediapersons that he had fired at the police, but held the Circle Inspector, V. Tirupathi, responsible for the incident. He also allegedly said that he did not expect the police to come and though it was the CPUSI naxals who were trying to attack him.
