What the G.O. says
Clause No. 7: "The Director of Medical Education shall communicate to each of the cardiac cell in the teaching hospitals, a list of all the private hospitals in the State who have agreed to conduct the surgeries, and details of the types of surgeries each hospital can handle; and also a list of types of surgeries that each Government teaching hospital in the State can perform." The G.O. also says that "The DME shall obtain the willingness of the private hospitals to the scheme, duly getting the details of specialist doctors, what types of surgeries they can do and the number of surgeries that can be handled by them per month, etc."
