Modi's plea to Manmohan

GANDHINAGAR, NOV. 12. The Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, today urged the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, to intervene in the arrest of the Kanchi Sankaracharya, Jayendra Saraswathi, and find a solution "within the framework of law." Dr. Singh promised to do the needful, an official spokesman said.
