6 children buried alive

AHMEDABAD, NOV. 24. Six children were killed today when loose soil caved in while they were playing near a pond in Asarwa locality here.

The pond was being deepened by the Municipal Corporation and the loose earth was heaped near the pond. Nine children between 9-15 years were playing nearby when the soil caved in . The fire brigade and police personnel rescued three children and recovered bodies of the remaining six.
