CHENNAI, JAN. 18. T.G. Nallamuthu, Additional Principal Information Officer, Press Information Bureau (PIB), Chennai, has been promoted and posted as Director-General, Directorate of Field Publicity, New Delhi, with additional charge as Registrar of Newspapers of India, under the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. B.K. Vetri Selvan, Deputy Principal Information Officer, will assume charge of the Press Information Bureau, Southern Region, in Chennai. Our New Delhi Special Correspondent writes: The Press Registrar, Registrar of Newspapers for India, Deepak Sandhu, has been posted as Director-General (News), News Services Division of All India Radio. She will continue to hold additional charge of Additional Principal Information Officer (PIO) at the PIB. Shipra Biswas, currently Additional PIO at PIB headquarters, has been posted as Director-General of the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) in place of Swagata Ghosh who returns to PIB as Additional PIO. And, the Additional PIO, Bahadur Singh, has been posted as Director of Research, Reference and Training Division.
