Sethi survives a scare

HYDERABAD: Former World champion Geet Sethi survived a scare against Neeraj Kumar before winning 2-1 in the league phase of the second-leg of the CII-India Cue Masters championship here on Wednesday.

Sethi lost to Neeraj in billiards 41-50 but won the snooker event with ease scoring 63-17 and in the decisive nine-ball pool event, Geet Sethi by first rack capitalised on Neeraj's errors in the second rack to clinch it 3-1.
