Sandeep's 113 in vain

Bangalore: A.V. Sandeep's unbeaten 113 (209b, 10x4, 1x6) went in vain as KSCA President's XI suffered a 141-run defeat against Sanmar Chemplast in a KSCA All India invitation cricket tournament match that concluded at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Monday.

Sanmar Chemplast 444 for nine in 100 overs bt KSCA President's XI 303 for 5 in 100 overs (A.V. Sandeep 113 n.o., Stuart Binny 53).

ONGC 195 in 56.5 overs bt KSCA Colts 120 all out in 46.3 overs (Sumit Narwal seven for 52).

Hyderabad CA 201 in 84.3 lost to Orissa CA 204 for three in 56.1 overs (Subit Biswal 97, P. Jayachandra 78).

NCA 190 in 64.4 overs lost to KSCA 194 for 3 in 39.4 overs (Devaraj Patil 59 n.o., Deepak Chougule 44 n.o., Bharath Chipli 41).

Tirupura CA 164 in 64.5 overs (Rajib Dutta 76, Sachin Rana five for 46) lost to
