Hat-trick by Sumesh

KANNUR: A hat-trick by Sumesh powered GHSS, Vengad to a 3-1 win over GHSS, Puzhathi in the Vasuettan memorial first inter-school football tournament at the Municipal stadium on Saturday.

Sumesh scored in the 6th, 16th and 25th minutes to complete his feat while Abhilash reduced the margin for GHSS, Puzhathi in the 15th minute.

In another match, Panchayat HSS, Pappinissery blanked Azhikode HS 3-0. Mahin Manoj struck a brace (38th & 54th) after Sreejesh had put Panchayat HSS ahead in the 10th minute.
